Production by Tilly Von Tiki is the transformative process of getting your ideas from your head, onto paper, and into real-world production. From an initial consultation, we streamline your ideas into a cohesive collection. Our vast knowledge of patterns and fabrics, married with an ability to visualise your ideas – and add to them if you wish – delivers a collection that is practically produced, unique, and absolutely yours.
Our bridal collections for Rock the Frock have been loved by rockin’ brides-to-be for the past three years, and being stretch fabric specialists, swim-wear is definitely a ‘thing’ of ours too. Our Sculpture Swim Wear collection featured in Tatler Magazine and on Love Island, whilst our Rock the Frock gowns have featured on the too-cool-for-school Rock n Roll bride, and in An Essex Wedding magazine.

Our Production Process

It all starts with a free 1 hour consultation where we discuss any imagery, designs or themes. These meetings are high energy; lots of ideas fly around, and you see a peep of what we can offer you in terms of colour, style and fabrics. Our ability to visualise your collection at this stage is why our clients walk out of this meeting buzzing about their soon-to-be-real clothing line. Every time!

The next stage is to look at your collection in realistic terms of budget, patterns and your target market, which is achieved by fabric sourcing and finalising designs. Here, we put a lot of practical questions forward, such as fastenings, fabric pros and cons, and price points. Considering these small details at this point avoids problems in the sampling process.

Designs finalised, we go ahead with the sampling stage. Our 20+ years experience brings pattern cutting skills, direction with fabric choice, and transforms your ideas into a beautiful reality. The result is a well planned and quality collection from the very beginning, even if you’re only just starting out down the clothing line road.

Finally, we grade your patterns and produce them on to card. At this point, you make your initial stock order. We are happy to offer small and large scale production and calculate prices using a quantity band. We work hard to get the most out of your budget and expected stock sales, and of course to create you a fabulous collection.
